Agroecology (BIO435)
John E. Quinn at Furman University
Class Structure
In this class we will address major questions around the relationships in the coupled human natural system that is agriculture. Readings, lectures, and activities (in lecture and lab) will allow us to move across the learning ladder. Memorization of basic terms will require you to read the text and outside readings. The effectiveness of your participating in lecture and lab activities will reflect your comprehension of the readings and ability to complete summative exams. A failure to be prepared will limit the scope of discussion and movement up the learning ladder.
Planned Timeline, Readings, Assignments, Exams
